Indian Army has been Inviting online Applications from Eligible Unmarried Male and Unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from widows of Indian Personnel Armed Forces Defence who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for SSC (Tech)- 60th Men and SSCW (Tech)- 31st Women. The course will commence in April 2023 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Students Who are eligible and want to apply for this Indian Army Recruitment 2022 at once check the complete details like Qualification, Age Criteria, Important Dates, and others after ensuring eligibility apply online from the 26th of July 2022.

Important Date for Apply Online for Indian Army SSC Tech Vacancy 2022:

Applicants Age Limit: (As on 1st April 2023)

(1) For SSC (Tech)- 60 Men and SSCW (Tech)- 31 Women:- Candidates’ Age should be between 20 to 27 years.

(Candidates born between 02 Apr 1996 and 01 Apr 2003, inclusive days).

(2) For Widows of Indian Armed Force Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only:- SSCW (Non-Tech) [Non-UPSC] & SSC (Tech)- maximum age of 35 years.

Note:- D.O.B of Candidates will be Acceptable as recorded in the High School / Intermediate Examination Certificate.

Education Qulaification–

(a) For SSC(Tech)- 60 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 31 Women

• Candidates who have passed the Requisite Engineering Degree Course ( BE/B.Tech) are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are studying im the final year of Engineering Degree Course ( Appearing BE or B.Tech) are also eligible to submit online application Frorm.

(b) For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness.

(i) SSCW (Non-Tech) [Non-UPSC]-Graduation in any Discipline.

(ii) SSCW (Tech)- B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream

How to Apply Online:

Note:- Applications will only be accepted online mode

1. First of all visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
   
2. Click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (Registration is not required, if already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
3. Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.
4. After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.
5. A page ‘Officers Selection – ‘Eligibility’ will open. Then click
   ‘Apply’ shown against Short Service Commission Technical Course.
6. A page ‘Application Form’ will open. Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill details as required under various segments – Personal information, Communication details, Education details and details of previous SSB.
7. ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment.
8. After filling details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries
   already made.
9. Only after ascertaining the correctness of all your details, click on ‘Submit’. Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing any details.
10. The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application
    having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final closure of online application on last day.
